The special design with multiple entry tunnels lures yellow jackets and wasps inside with an irresistible mixture of water and sugar, and a secure retainment means it never lets pests out. The insect enters the trap through the holes on the bottom section, then flys up through the interior cone into the clear yellow catch chamber. Once inside the trap, they cannot fly out and subsequently die of dehydration. It is recommended the trap be placed at least 20 ft. away from an outdoor activity area, such as a patio or deck to keep your backyard activities sting-free.
