TILLANDSIA IONANTHA: Plants start green and when mature blush red and produce purple tubular flowers(See mature red plant in photo).A nice variety of ionanhta. 5 Pack Includes: a mix of 3-5 different types of ionantha plants-pack may include ionantha fuego, ionantha Guatemala, ionantha rubra(various form-open, tall, soft leaf etc), ionantha Mexico, ionantha scaposa etc. CARE:Great pack for orbs! Ionantha are very hardy. Keep them in a sunny window and soak for 8 hours once every 1-2 weeks and that's it. Some varieties will blush pink or red when in strong light. Some stay green until mature and bloom occurs. Colors received will depend on availability, but most likely will be shipped as shown in the column on the right of the main photo(the 5 green plants next to the large photo of the red mature plant in bloom) or as shown in the second photo. The mature red plant in the photo is for general reference regarding mature appearance. Whenever plants in color are available we will pack those for you. Plants received may or may not be in bloom. SIZE: Tillandsia ionantha are a wonderful miniature form of tillandsia. This means they will stay small with most only growing to 2-4 inches. Plants received will have a nice variety of sizes ranging from 1/2" to 3" or larger depending on availability.
