The king of the Griffin Knights is a proud and brave ruler. His knights admire him because he is equally skilled with almost all weapons and because there is hardly any enemy strong enough to take him down. He is always the first to ride into battle, followed by the army of his abiders. His men confide in him because he has never failed. No matter what trap his enemies conceive, the king always knows a way out. In the evening, the king picks up his lute that he plays as virtuously as he swings his sword.
