This wheat straw comes directly from our family farm in Kansas. It was baled shortly after harvest in square bales. This straw was not sprayed with any chemicals while it was growing or since it has been baled. The uses for wheat straw are numerous. We use it as animal bedding for all sizes of animals from kittens to cattle. Wheat straw also makes great garden mulch. Straw shades the ground, helps retain moisture, and reduces the amount of weeds that sprout in the garden.
