Great for a multimedia wall plate install such as with computer or A/V television cables. Not for use with electrical outlets. Mounting bracket for RiteAV wall plates. Used for existing drywall (sometimes called old work) .. just cut a hole in the wall and this bracket screws in behind the drywall without using an outlet box. Screws can be screwed into it just as an outlet box. Tested and fits name brand wall plate covers such as RiteAV and Leviton.
