“Where is this thing we call ‘life’ headed?” Richard Rohr introduces the theme for this issue of the Rohr Institute’s spiritual and literary journal, Oneing, with this question. Throughout “Ripening,” respected and new teachers explore the evolution of a life, beyond ideas of physical aging, toward maturity and eldership. "Oneing," the title of the journal, is a word that was used by the Christian mystic, Lady Julian of Norwich (1342-1416), to describe the encounter between God and the soul. The Rohr Institute publishes "Oneing" with Jesus’ words at heart: “that all may be one” (John 17:21).
