In an attempt to start over, retired assassin John Rain leaves his dangerous work, his volatile relationship, and the romance of Paris for the colorful anonymity of the Big Easy. Unbeknownst to him, Charlotte, the daughter of one of his victims, has used her grandmother’s voodoo practices to lure Rain to New Orleans, where, as a young child, she witnessed her father’s graveyard murder that left her an orphan. Now, grown and full of grief, she plots to bring Rain under her control and to take her revenge.
