The heavy 6" round base of the Gator Frameworks desktop mic stand keeps the stand in place. The round base also has a no-slip anti-vibration ring that works to prevent hum through vibrating surfaces. The soft grip twist clutch allows the Frameworks desktop microphone stand to adjust from 10" to 15" height.
