a NEW Hand-Painted Miniature Ceramic LOP-EARED RABBIT Standing on Hind Legs FIGURINE, No. 861, from HAGEN RENAKER. All have a gloss glazed finish. In partnership with her husband John, Maxine Hagen Renaker co-founded the Hagen-Renaker Pottery in Monrovia, California in 1945. By 1948 they were producing miniature animal figurines. In 1965 the company moved to San Dimas, California where it now operates. Hagen is the only manufacturer of miniature ceramic animals left in the U.S. The company continues under the leadership of their daughter Susan Hagen.
