The Architect series of rollerball pens was created using experimental colors. Unique metallic hues were also developed and used on these pens. This model of the Architect series is produced in dark Purple metallic color. Multilayers of clear translucent lacquer were applied on the solid brass body, after the diamond-cut engraving and painting were finished. Each of the layers of clear translucent lacquer undergoes repeat polishing to add luster to the finish. Each pen has a screw-on cap that secures on the pen barrel in capped position. However, to post the cap on the barrel's end, one must firmly press down on top of cap until it clicks. All fittings are .999 platinum plated. Each pen is individually numbered, and produced in a limited edition of 500 pieces. Fine point German-made Xezo ruby rolling ball refill provides smooth skip-free writing. Total writing length of refill exceeds 3280ft/1000m. Original rollerball refill is selectively interchangeable with a variety of commercially available rollerball pen refills like Montblanc.
