Flexible steel nozzle has a screen filter in the tip to keep debris out of your fuel tank. Over the 60+ years that the NATO style Jerry can has been made the lid and opening dimensions have been unchanged but the internal vent opening has varied a great deal. Even today among different producers of cans the vent style differs. This means that many nozzles on the market only fit the cans made by the same manufacturer as the vent interface between the can and nozzle will not work. The Universal Fit Nozzle is made without a protruding vent so it will fit any NATO style can regardless of vent configuration.
