This listing includes 1 piece of round base magnets, which are also known as cup magnets. Each of these round base magnets is made of a ceramic ring magnet encased inside a chrome plated steel cup. The ceramic ring magnet is bonded inside of the cup with adhesives. This arrangement greatly increases the holding power of the magnet and at the same time provides the protection to the magnet so it becomes durable. The holding power of this magnetic assembly is about 50 LBS with a direct touch with the steel. The outer diameter of the magnet is 2.37" (60mm). The mounting hole in the center is 0.27" (6.5mm) which allows a 1/4" screw pass through. The total thickness of the assembly is 0.35" (8mm). The applications of this round base magnet include holding, lifting, antenna Mounting, positioning, retrieving and much more.
