The CQC-4K combines Kershaw's precision engineering with the uncompromising functional design of Emerson Knives. The 3.25-inch drop-point blade is made of 8Cr14MoV stainless steel finished in a non-reflective, stealthy black-oxide coat and features excellent wear resistance, edge retention and versatility. The handle combines a black-oxide stainless steel back scale and a textured G-10 front scale for secure grip. The blade is manually opened with the thumb disk or Emerson's patented “wave-shaped feature", an instant-open quality favorited among military, rescue and law enforcement knife users. A small wave-shaped tab on top of the blade is built to catch on the pocket seam to open the knife as it comes out of the pocket for ideal fast-action use. The pocketclip is reversible for left or right handed carry, and a secure frame lock prevents accidental blade closure during operation. The CQC-4K is a wonderful collaboration of form and function for any knife enthusiast.
