Please note: It is required to install this item in a divided outlet box. Recommended compatible outlet boxes Carlon BH234R (Old work). This is a 2 Piece Decorative Wall Plate (plate and plate cover). Tooless connection, Just plug one cable into the front and one into the back. Outlet needs to be hard wired as a regular outlet. High quality, screws included. Fits standard outlet boxes, decora(tive) plates and mounting brackets. Female on both sides of the plate jacks for easy plugin. 4 inch distance between screws. This is not a GFCI outlet and is not to be installed near or behind a kitchen sink, bathtub, bathroom or within 12-15 feet of any source of water. Must be installed into a new or existing plastic or metal outlet electrical box for safety. Do not install this with a drywall only mounting bracket.
