Synopsis: Every summer, deep in the Nevada desert, a temporary city is created by tens of thousands of people. The week-long celebration is known as Burning Man. Radical participation, gifting, self-reliance, and self-expression are a few of the core principles. Through a mosaic of personal perspectives from five filmmakers, this participatory documentary reveals an intimate glimpse of what they discovered about love, the environment, the gift economy, reality, art, creativity, and themselves. As The Dust Settles premiered at the Byron Bay International Film Festival 2013. This Dual-Layer DVD has the 85 minute Participatory Documentary, a 24 minute Making Of Video, several additional extras, as well as a special "jump to moment" menu. The DVD has full color double-sided artwork on the DVD case wrap featuring some great quotes on the inside, and high gloss full color artwork on the disc.
