No. 6938 Bergeon Swiss plastic sheets go over the watch dial when working with the watch movement and more commonly taking off and installing the watch hands. The sheet design is such that it goes around the cannon pinion/hour wheel and hole on the 12 o'clock can go around any marker. Changing watch hands can be done without worry about damaging expensive dials.
