Under the title 'Occitan Nights', a few troubadour songs have been collected here. Those poet-musicians celebrated the beauty of women, praised the courage of men and evoked the parting of lovers at daybreak. The CÉLADON Ensemble offers us a poetic vision of these lovely melodies (with their complete texts); the accompaniment, with four instruments, provides a particularly elegant sound environment sublimated by the perfect acoustics ofthe church of Notre-Dame de Centeilles.
