1985-color-Korean language with English subtitles. In the days of feudal Asia, the humble farmers are ruled over by a ruthless king. When the town blacksmith is imprisoned as a rebel, he creates Pulgasari, a small figure of a creature he molded from rice. Soon, Pulgasari comes to life and grows by eating iron. Ami and the rebels enlist the help of giant monster Pulgasari to defeat the king and his army. Ah, but the king has some ideas on how to defeat this creature.
