In GIVE THE DOG A BONE, the Boulder, Colorado, dog therapist Allie Babcock finds herself working with an adorable Golden Retriever. The owner refuses to train his dog because he believes his Golden is channeling his ex-wife. WOOF AT THE DOOR finds Allie agreeing to help an old friend by intervene with her neighbors' barking dog. Allie feels as if she's time-traveled to the 1960's when she confronts the well-aged hippies, who've been too mellow to train their enormous, noisy dog. All too soon she finds herself and her friend in mortal danger.
