We love introducing our customers to Sashiko embroidery! A traditional technique from Japan, Sashiko means "little stabs," which perfectly describes the distinctive running stitch that defines Sashiko's style. Olympus's Sashiko Samplers depict beautiful, time-honored patterns inspired by the rhythmand lyricism of nature's own designs. Each one includes the pre-printed pattern only. You will also need Sashiko Needles, a Sashiko Thimble, and Sashiko Thread (two skeins are enough to complete one Sampler). NOTE: DO NOT PRE-WASH Sampler because the lines will disappear!
