- Intertape Legend Reinforced Gummed Paper Tape is a water-activated reinforced tape designed to provide consistent performance in carton sealing applications where durability, extra strength and reliability are required. The white color is more of an off-white though in reality even though Intertape calls it white.
- Intertape Legend tape has extra strong fiberglass yarns which are bonded between the high tensile strength sheets for an extra margin of strength. Recommended using on light and average weight cartons up to 25 pounds. Please note this tape is not wound on to a core.
- Gummed Paper Tape is used for two strip sealing cartons top & bottom. Water-activated reinforced tapes bond instantly to both non-recycled and recycled fiber (corrugated carton, paper, etc.) surfaces and therefore, generate an immediate destructive bond resulting in a tamper-evident package.
- The starch-based adhesive of the Intertape Legend Reinforced Gummed Paper tape absorbs dust and bonds securely to the carton and sealing the seam also acts as a dust barrier. The tape is not affected by extreme hot or cold temperatures and non-cellulose materials can be removed during repulping and allow for easy recycling.
