These precision cut shapes eliminate tedious and time-consuming hand cutting while enhancing piecing accuracy. The machine pinked edges also minimize fraying. Sandy Gervais's Grandma Evelyn had a tiered tray which she packed with goodies during the holidays. Her "Tower of Treats" had fruit on the bottom tier, candies and cookies in the middle, and some strange dried fruit (which Sandy never chose) on the top tier. This inspired Sandy's fabric rendition of the "tower" which she filled with a bounty of fruits, pinecones, bulbs and berries. Pine Fresh features prints with a festive flair in a warm Christmas color palette. Crimson reds, evergreens and golds are paired with bold black for richness. Can't you just smell the fresh pine of Pine Fresh?

Sandy Gervais has always been interested in art and sewing. In high school she made her own clothes and made greeting cards for her friends. Later on she made cards for her boyfriend, who later became her husband. In the spring of 1994, she attended her first international Quilt Market in St. Louis, where she was discovered by Moda Fabrics. Many fabric lines later, she is thrilled to be designing fabric for Moda.
