A rubberized asphalt (RA) flashing that is an affordable choice with best-in-class performance. Designed for use in the Typar Weather Protection System, which is backed by a 10-year limited installation warranty. It has all of the advantages of Typar Flashing BA while offered at a lower price. Typar flashings and construction tape play a critical role in assuring seams, edges and openings are buttoned-up to assure the highest level of system performance. In fact, sealing all joints with tape improves the wrap's performance by approximately 20%. NOTE: Many commonly-used sealants and caulks contain solvents & plasticizers which can react with the rubberized asphalt adhesive on flashing system. Make sure caulks or sealants coming in contact with the adhesive portion of Typar Flashing RA do not contain plasticizers or solvent. This includes most polyurethane and silicone caulks.
