East Indian Walnut Cable Needles are slightly curved needles that are used to temporarily hold stitches in order to form a cable. My needles are sold as a set of three different lengths and diameters to work with different weights of yarn and are very useful! When using a cable needle, you slip the cables stitches as if purling onto the cable needle. This step insures that the stitches will not be twisted when you work them back into your project. Cable Needles are approximately 4; 4 1/2; and 5 inches long, variable over their full length, but diameters are approximately 5/6; 6/7 and 9/10 mm.- sold as a set of all three pictured.
