The camel down used for this yarn is the soft warm inner down of the Bactrian baby camel. The fiber structure is similar to cashmere. The down used is usually 1 - 3" long with a micron count of 15 to 22 microns. This is a natural, undyed 4 ply yarn. Details: 100% Baby Camel 437 Yards/400 Meters 100 grams/3.53 oz 6 - 7.5 stitches to the inch Needle Size - 2.75 - 4mm/2 -6 US Fingering weight Care of Garments made of baby camel yarn: Handwash in lukewarm water using mild detergent. Do not agitate. Let soak for 10 minutes than rinse in same temperature water as used to wash. Drain and gently squeeze garment to remove excess water. Dry flat and reblock as needed.
