MM06C David Plumpton presents "Modern Melodies for Ballet Class" Vol. 2 which continues in the same vein as Vol. 1 with a great mix of melodies from movies and stage shows. Several tracks are arrangements of two or more melodies. There is even a movie medley of four songs for Grand Battement. Theme songs from the most recent TV shows like "Downton Abbey" and "Dallas" to movies like "Harry Potter" and "Pirates of the Caribbean" are combined with songs like "Livin' La Vida Loca" and "Hit the Road Jack". There are also some older melodies sprinkled in to round out this impressive offering. You will have fun trying to guess where you heard that tune. David has worked with every major dance company in England and always plays with great energy and passion.
