About Yomogi

Yomogi (Artemisia princeps) is a member of the chrysanthemum family, and its extract is extensively used by leading cosmetics companies in a large variety of skincare products.

Japanese have known the skin-beautifying and numerous other benefits of Yomogi leaves since ancient times.

Besides soap, they also use it for bathing (Yomogi Yu), making tea (Yomogi Cha) and to make sweet rice cakes called Yomogi mochi.

Yomogi leaves contain Vitamins A, B1, B2 and C, as well as minerals such as iron, calcium and phosphorus. It's natural essential oil (cineole) gives off a fresh, spring-like fragrance.
