Our 8" x 8" heavy-duty clamshell is made from 100 percent sustainable and renewable wheat straw fiber and bagasse (sugarcane fiber). Gluten free and tree free. They are perfect for restaurant leftovers or take out orders, industrial food service cafeterias, "To-Go" salad bars. They are an environmentally beneficial alternative to Plastic or Styrofoam, which contain non-biodegradable and petroleum derived materials, or paper, which requires cutting down trees. They are compostable in either a commercial composting facility (1-6 months) or a home compost (up to 12 months). They are built sturdy, from 100 percent environmentally beneficial natural, renewable plant fibers. Microwave safe and oil/liquid and cut resistant.
- MATERIALS: 100% compostable, biodegradable disposable food containers with lids. All Earths Natural Alternative plates are environmental-friendly compostable plates. 1-6 months to fully compost at municipal and industrial composting facilities; home composting time may vary from home to home. Earth Natural plates are heavy-duty premium compostable bamboo plates made from quick-growing, sustainable, and renewable plant fiber, including bamboo fiber and sugarcane (bagasse) fiber.
- FEATURES: Our eco-friendly paper containers for food are microwavable, thick, and strong, with no plastic or wax lining, unbleached, dye-free, gluten-free, plastic-free, BPA-free, cut-resistant, and oil-resistant. Perfect for serving hot or cold food. Microwave safe up to 248° F (with food). *Caution: Hot and moist foods may cause condensation to form at the bottom of containers. When serving hot food on a wooden table, a trivet is recommended.
