Chamomile (Matricaria recuita) is well-known herb, and this the classic variety so commonly found in tea blends. A very easy to grow that's not picky about soil and nutrient requirements; it makes a beautiful addition to any garden. Harvest the blossoms by hand, or invest in a chamomile rake to make larger harvests more feasible. The foliage can also be used in tea. This plant also makes a lovely, pollinator-attracting plant in the garden. Chamomile readily reseeds once the plants have finished flowering. Plant it once and will come up in the same spot year after year. Grown at Mano Farm in Ojai, California.
