Muira Puama also known as "Potency Wood". The native peoples of the Amazon use Muira Puama combine it with Catuaba. Take the Muira Puama and Catuaba tincture with a small amount of warm water to which you have added a little lemon juice. This assists absorption of the therapeutic tannins. Catuaba also known as trichilia catigua, Anemopegma mirandum, angelim-rosa, caramuru, catagu, catigu, catigua, chuchuhuasha, pau de reposta, or tatuaba. The Tupi tribe in northern Brazil discovered the potency enhancer qualities of catuaba several hundred years ago. The antibacterial constituent of the herb is cinchonain. Also contained are fatty acids, phytosterols, and antioxidant flavonoids.
