- Compatibility & Usage: Hatchlift RV bed lift kits are not replacement springs and are for new RV installations only. Incompatible with foam mattresses. Order the correct kit for your current RV bed, not future upgrades/toppers.
- Ordering Guidelines: Order the correct kit for your current RV bed setup. Do not purchase for future mattress upgrades or adding a pillow topper later—kits are designed for existing configurations only.
- Measurement Requirements: For partial platform beds, measure the inside compartment dimensions before ordering. Accurate measurements ensure proper fit and functionality for your RV storage needs.
- Installation Requirements: These kits require woodworking/mechanical skills for installation. Not compatible with bunk beds, radius beds, side-load beds, or fixed base beds in slide-outs (deck, mattress, and base must slide together).
- Included Components: BLK-QUEEN HEAVY kits include mounting hardware, wood blocks, and two 20" x 120 lb. heavy-duty gas springs. Built for oversized queen beds or pillowtop mattresses requiring extra lift strength.
- Exclusions: Not compatible with bunk beds, side-load applications, or RV beds in slide-outs with fixed base platforms. Verify compatibility with your bed setup before purchasing.
