Introducing the Stay-IN-Play DUO. DUO uses both air and vacuum to brake the towed vehicle. Since air is fast and efficient the Stay-IN-Play DUO activates the towed vehicles brakes faster and more efficiently than competing systems. DUO also creates vacuum for the towed vehicles power brakes making the brake pedal soft and easy to apply. Using the power brakes creates a soft brake pedal that requires substantially less force in the towed vehicle. DUO is also the only electric brake system to require two separate and distinct signals before it will apply the towed vehicles brakes. The brakes of the coach must be applied first then DUO looks for sufficient deceleration. When both signals are present DUO automatically applies progressive braking effort in the towed vehicle. Combining two signals means that when you down shift your rig without the brakes the DUO cannot activate. There is a big difference between will not and cannot. All systems that sense deceleration only COULD activate DUO cannot. The Stay-IN-Play DUO includes a Panic Stop feature. When someone cuts you off or a deer jumps in the road you want all the brakes you can get the instant you jump on the brakes. Because DUO uses two signals to control the activation there is no need for complicated electronics to determine if you are stopping going down a grade or just on a bumpy road.
