Picking up directly where the first season left off, season two finds Todd (David Cross) on his continuing quest to sell a disgusting and potentially dangerous energy drink. Spreading accidental chaos wherever he goes and encouraged mischievously at all times by Dave (Blake Harrison), Todd soon finds himself in an unenviable situation. Meanwhile, Brent (Will Arnett) & Doug (Spike Jonze) reluctantly form an odd couple private detective team in a haphazard effort to track down the mysterious Mr Mountford, Dave's employee (Jon Hamm) struggles to please his boss and Alice (Sharon Horgan) has a once in a lifetime opportunity to work with a famous chef who mistakenly believes Alice has only days to live.
