Singer/songwriter Gary Blanchard, with help from his wife, Carol Mays, presents seventeen songs from the International Workers of the World. The members of the IWW, also known as Wobblies, were issued a union card and a songbook. This CD includes songs written by the best known Wobblie songwriter, Joe Hill. Gary also has a companion songbook containing the words and chords for the seventeen songs and a brief history of the IWW.
