Our connectors come from the same factories and molds that the OEM vehicle manufacturers use. They are a 100% direct fit and are guaranteed to fit correctly. Just identify which type of J1962 housing (there are several and we carry most of them) is in your vehicle for the correct fit.
- Please check your existing connector before just blindly ordering a replacement part. Although we do know several vehicle MFG use this connector we can't guarantee compatibility across the entire model line. We will guarantee that our housing will fit just like the original if they are the same type.
- Includes an OEM direct replacement J1962 housing, pin retention clips, and 16x female sockets
- High quality OEM molds insure stable sockets that connect every time and don't wobble. Pins are made from high quality spring steel to insure they will make contact with the inserted device for hundreds of mating cycles
- Please note the female wire sockets DO REQUIRE crimping. It can be done with some of the dual purpose wire stripper/crimping tools, a dedicated crimping tool, or with a small set of needle nose pliers. Vehicle manufacturers never populate all 16 pins of the J1962 connector, but we include 16 sockets for the housing since that is the maximum it could contain. In most cases you will only need 5-8 of them.
