The cast cover is scientifically designed to keep your cast, bandage, burns, cuts and prosthetics dry while taking bath, shower or enjoying any other water activity. It also keeps your cast safe from snags and scratches......The polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polypropylene and rubber are used in making the cast cover which makes it durable or long lasting. Its body is transparent, water-tight, flexible and non-sticky. The anatomical shape assists in free hand movement. Its length is up to 22 inches and circumference ranges from 6.2 to 14.2 inches. These dimensions and the water tight expandable diaphragm which easily accommodates any cast or bandage size makes it custom fit.....It comes with easy pull on mechanism to easily pull and cover the desired length of the limb as well to easily release after each use. The rigid ring is provided with self retaining mechanism so no need of fasteners.....Being reusable, it can be used several times, easy to clean and store. Essential Precautions : The product is delicate - especially the rubber diaphragm and susceptible to tear. Therefore, use it most gently, both while putting on or removing from the arm; otherwise it will tear. NEVER put on or pull off in a rush. Although the opening (orifice) may seem small, it is a universal size and fits most arms. This is intentionally so, to ensure a 100% leak proof fit. It may be uncomfortable while bathing but it is so for your benefit - to prevent water from seeping through. As you glide the hand through the orifice, glide gently holding the diaphragm for support closer to the cast and moving a little at a time. Lastly, it is recommended to use the product only when in need, such as while showering, going to the pool, whilst raining etc. Not recommended for everyday use.
