Two years after their fairy tale wedding in the garden of the Rose Chalet, Josh has taken a job in New York and Sophie is still living and working at the university in San Francisco. Their phone calls and letters have dwindled. Josh is tired of trying to convince Sophie to join him and Sophie is determined to say where she is.
