Grow this special mixture of Coneflowers, aptly named "Rainbow Mixture" from fresh Echinacea flower seeds. This specially blended mixture of Coneflowers produces a wave of vibrant colors including red, yellow, white, pink, and purple. Plants will reach a mature height of about 24 to 48 inches tall and display 3 to 5 inch flowers atop bushy yet attractive foliage. Coneflowers are perennial plants that often bloom through the summer months, die with the first killing frost and return the following year from roots when the weather is warm. Coneflower or "Echinacea" (Ek-i-nay-sha) plants are often included in small to large butterfly gardens as they will attract a variety of beneficial insects.
