Chrome Oxide will shine stainless steel and is an excellent polish for knife makers. Mix with corn cob in a tumbler to polish brass casings .... just use a half teaspoon full at a time and run the tumbler till the corn cob is coated, adding a tiny bit at a time. ....... For rock polishing, use with faceting machines, sanding belts, lap disks, polishing heads for dremels, or can be used by hand (with a lot of effort). Leather or felt polishing tools are preferred, but cotton buffers will work well also..... Chrome Oxide can be very messy.
