Three string wound high temperature water sediment filter cartridges - 2.5 inch x 9.75 inch by KleenWater.

These replacement cartridges are engineered for high temperature applications up to 250 degrees Farhrenheit. Compatible with filtration used with outdoor wood burning furnace systems and domestic hot water systems.

The KW2510SWHT cartridge is supported by a stainless steel core. The cartridge core is filled with polyphosphate which give the cartridge a scale prevention feature. This ingredient will also protect fixtures and appliances from corrosion.

The cartridge effectively removes dirt, rust and sediment down to 5 microns. To provide perspective to the 5 micron sediment entrapment rating, it is important to note the naked human eye can see down to 20 micron and a human hair is 100 microns in diameter.

The 8 gallon per minute flow rates allow for residential and light commercial applications. It is recommended the cartridge be changed every 3-6 months or upon substantial pressure reduction.
