Sixteen year old, Hunter Permaine, wanders across a unmapped town where he meets a girl named Xena. The other teenagers in town call her a freak and refuse to have anything to do with her, but Hunter can't see why. On top of all that infamous criminal, J.R. Dunsworth, seems to be Xena's guardian. Well, a mystery is no good unless it can be solved so Hunter determines to figure out Xena's secret. He has to hurry, though. Someone else has his eyes set on her.
