A pair of young newlyweds acquires an old abandoned house in Bangkok that soon brings them into contact with Mae Nak, a vengeful spirit of horror and despair. While Mae Nak's ghost protects the couple from unscrupulous visitors, it soon becomes apparent that she expects a terrible favor in return. Only by setting Mae Nak's spirit free will the couple have any chance of surviving her deadly wrath.

Ting is an aspiring actress who dreams of becoming famous. One day the police ask her to help solve a murder case by portraying the victim in the reenactment of the crime. Ting relishes the opportunity and is quickly asked to recreate fatal experiences of other victims. Now a local celebrity, Ting is invited to reenact a very high-profile murder case. The victim is a former Miss Thailand and the murder especially gruesome and peculiar. However, this reenactment is not like the others as Ting to her horror, genuinely feels the terrible pain and suffering that the murdered beauty queen endured. Frantically searching for answers, Ting fears she herself is in danger of becoming the next victim.

While growing up in rural Thailand, a young and beautiful orphan girl is taught the mysterious art of dark magic by her grandmother. When her grandmother falls sick, young Dau travels to Bangkok looking for work in order to earn enough money for medicine. She lands a job as an exotic dancer at a go-go club. Hesitant at first and ridiculed by the other dancers, circumstances force Dau to become an adult before her time and ultimately the most popular and eerily seductive dancer at the club. Jealousies ensue and as her magic gets darker, the young girl gradually loses control as something abhorrently evil and wicked takes over.
