How it's made? In order to achieve a high gloss carbon finish we had to combine two products, a smooth 3d carbon that can accept laminate without losing the carbon and smoothness. This causes the film to be a little thicker than other VViViD Products. So here are some tips for installation! 1. Peel the clear protection film from the surface. 2. Measure and apply over the target surface. 3. Get as much vinyl applied before using heat. 4. When working corners or edges, heat the film generously and conform the film to shape. Note that the adhesive is repositionable, meaning it is not initially sticky. If you would like more tack in certain areas, heat gently and press the film into place to activate adhesive further. Please use a felt tipped squeegee to limit scratching during application. Any light scratches can self heal with heat once your finished installing.
