The Solvid CamStrap universal head camera mount allows almost any camera, camcorder, cell phone (with tripod adapter) or action cam to be used as a head camera as long as it is of a comfortable size (rec. under 13 oz), has a 1/4" tripod thread, and shoots video. Not only does using your own camera mean the Solvid System is the most affordable head cam system, depending on the camera being used, it can also be the highest footage quality camera. Camcorders allow for footage quality that most action cameras cannot compete with, many at a lower price. When coupled with a camcorder, the CamStrap takes advantage of standard functions such as zoom, image stabilization, high quality audio, etc. The Solvid CamStrap Head Cam Mount will support camera weights up to 1 lb, with a recommended weight of less than 13oz (includes most compact camcorders).
