Patrick Orion is a former NCIS investigator who left that life to become an Episcopal priest, fully expecting to have a meaningful, but largely uneventful ministry. What he actually finds is a string of young women disappearing from his parish, and the seduction of money and power chipping away at his principles.

Paddy, and his new policeman friend, Danny Powell, come together to solve the mystery of the women’s disappearances after one is discovered dead at a construction site. As they pursue the truth in a world that’s not entirely as it seems, Paddy will face evil as he’s never imagined it and, finally feel exquisite pain when his own wife is murdered. His actions spurred by that horror will bring justice to the women and change the course of his life.
