1958- black and white- This rare kinescope of Playhouse 90s version of Heart Of Darkness stars Roddy McDowall as Charles Marlow. Marlow is a tormented young sailor trying to purge his nature of its inherent sins. He returns to his boyhood home where he grew up with Maria, with whom he had fallen in love. He also seeks out the man who raised him, Kurtz, only to learn that Kurtz is in the jungles of Africa. Marlow then tries to find Kurtz, only to find the heart of darkness in the soul of Man.
