Towel dry. To maintain the integrity of the bamboo and keep your bamboo jar looking beautiful, oil your bamboo canister periodically with a food-grade mineral oil. Simply put a bit of oil on a clean, soft washcloth and wipe all surfaces of the bamboo. NOTE:Any odor on the jar is from the bamboo itself and/or the food-safe mineral oil on the jar, and is not a chemical odor.
