All of Pocheon ginseng products have been registered to FDA in 2009 and exported to USA since then. In 2011, Pocheon Ginseng Farmer Association was the second leading export company to USA after KGC(Resource: Korean Government Agro-fisheries & Food Trade Organization). Pocheon Ginseng Farmer Association do cultivate ginseng carefully in their own farm and select only good ginseng roots. Pocheon has self-inspection rights on red and white ginseng, that is authority that only a few (10) companies in Korea currently hold. There are two kinds of extract, Royal (6mg/g) and Gold(10mg/g). As for Gold model, it has the highest ginsenoside quantity(10mg/g) among many ginseng extracts in Korea.

Until now, 37 Ginsenoside have been discovered and among them, Rg1 and Rb1 is known as key component. Recently as many researches about Rg3 have been done, they found out Rg3 is most efficient for health. And Korean Food Law have been changed for the manufacturer to notify Rg3 as well as Rg1 and Rb1 to customer.

Korean red ginseng is made by repetitive steaming and drying many times to increase saponin in the ginseng. That process is done until total water in the fresh ginseng would be up to 14%. The color of Korean red ginseng is yellow-red and the process is sometimes done 9 times.
