Lockhart's heavy hold pomade is the perfect product for high hold and high manageability. Doesn't harden so you can recomb your hair all day. It is a traditional pomade (i.e.: oil based as opposed to water based) this means it is not meant to wash out in the very first wash. Use a little bit of pomade to add volume and texture or really load up on the grease and style your hair just like the greasers from the 50s!
