Charles Aznavour turned 90 last year. He is a music-hall icon, a cornerstone of French song and one of the very few Gallic artists with a truly international following.
The album was written and arranged by Charles himself and produced by Marc di Domenico. It shines with sincerity and shows a desire to pass on the torch too - demonstrated by a duet with soul revelation Benjamin Clementine.
